Written by actors Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, the film earned nine Oscar nominations. Robin Williams gained his first (and only) Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. Affleck and Damon’s efforts landed them the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. With a $10 million budget, Good Will Hunting earned $225.9 million.
