Science Fiction Movies that are Hard to Watch

Howard The Duck

Universal Pictures

As the first live-action Marvel Comics theatrical film, Howard The Duck didn’t impress anyone. It was originally slated to be an animated feature before contracts turned things around. The 1986 film only gained $38 million against a $37 million budget. Director Willard Huyck and producer Gloria Katz ignored every single review of the movie. Since its release, Howard The Duck has become one of the biggest cult films of all time. Recently, the title character worked his way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Guardians of the Galaxy.
