Yes, it’s illegal to commit any crime, but doing it in a bullet-proof vest will earn you double the law violation if you’re caught. Staying away from crime entirely is probably your best bet, but if you’re in New Jersey you might want to consider leaving the vest to one side before doing anything. Or, even better, just don’t do crime.
