People do indeed have a voice and the time is now to use it if only for our children who are our leaders for tomorrow.
Today, most companies try to preserve some degree of cultural competence, accepting and understanding the value of cultural diversity in the work environment. Employers boasting policies of "equal opportunity" pervade our society. However, there is some evidence showing these companies only support cultural diversity to a certain degree --just enough to reduce their being liable for discrimination.
As we prepare for the New Year, it is understandable to become reflective and hopeful. Following is a touching commentary written by Mr. Ben Stein and, frankly, I couldn't have said it better. For all who read this, I wish you the very best for the coming year.
In the American/Iraqi stand for freedom, Americans as citizens of a free nation, have two choices - one responsible and one not: 1. believe mainstream media or 2. move to Organic Citizenry, that is, analyze the Textual Imagery to find the truth.
