One word of advice about joining forums is called for here because there are a few "unwritten rules" when it comes to participation. When you first visit there spend some time reading Posts and browsing. Much of what you may need to Know will be somewhere in the existing posts. Then after a time of studying and briefing, make a post to introduce yourself. Let folks know your interests and experience level: don't be shy! You can get more help than you can believe if you work it right. One thing you should not do is to just be a "taker". Make some valuable contributions to assist or inform others, and don't post just to be posting. This will not set well with the regulars and your posts might even get ignored.
