This is one of the highly researched books you may ever find and a lot of attention is paid in the details and making it interesting to the reader. It is a fast paced thriller which is bound to consume you till the end. It has a controversial plot based on conspiracy theories relating to Jesus’ Marriage and the Christian church trying to hide this fact. Brown’s novel, “Da Vinci Code” points to cryptic messages which are believed to be included by Leonardo Da Vinci in his arts. The protagonist has to decipher the clues among the artwork, architecture and riddles to solve a murder mystery and also to save own self. The novel refers Leonardo as the member of an ancient secret society ‘Priory of Sion’ who was devoted to preserve the truth of Jesus’ marriage with Mary Magdalene and that Jesus and Mary even had children and the she is the successor to Jesus and the concept of ‘Sacred Feminine’.
The best virtue of the book is that it’s fast paced thriller with some interesting riddles has an incomparable idea for a suspense novel. The main characters in the book discuss some very controversial religious issues as facts and even Brown’s “Facts” page terms them as actual facts. This may annoy or offend many readers.
